Like most students, I'm home for Easter! On the way back from Leeds, I joined the family at a friend of the family's caravan for a weekend of relaxation. Although my phone signal was practically none existent & the beds in there are approximately half the size of a normal single, it was lovely to just chill out in the country. Feeling adventurous, I dragged my siblings on a walk on the Sunday. The weather was glorious & the oldies were out in full, sampling a taste of the 'world famous' Ripley ice cream & ambling through the fields. Although I've been to Ripley many times before, I'd never ventured far from the castle & shops but I'd definitely recommend going for a wander, the scenery is stunning!

Beautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteRipley looks lovely!
xx
Looks like you've been enjoying the sun. All props to you for staying in a caravan. I think I'd find it too small now because I definitely did when I was younger so I'd hate to think what I'd be like now too. I'd probably fall out of the bed in the night or something painful like that :S
ReplyDeleteThe walk you went out looks gorgeous.
Lovely photos :)
Gathering the Daisies
@Falala Mele - Thanks lovely!
ReplyDelete@SweetVintageKisses - Thanks bb! It is a cute little village :)
@Samantha Jane - I am in love with the sun rn! LOL I used to go proper caravanning with my grandparents when I was little & the space was teeny! This one's a static caravan though so there's 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen/living room/dining room so it's not unbearably small!
I'm so jealous of your beautiful weather and pictures! It's been grey and dreary around my area lately :(
ReplyDeleteI'm working a few hours here and there Easter weekend so I won't be having a big dinner or anything, but mostly I'll get to relax, can't wait.
I want to join the roaming!
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of all the green trees with one red one standing out.
ReplyDeleteI have 5 days off over Easter yaaay I'm going to do some charity shopping and hang out in the sun xx
AWW i love these. looks like a really nice place! love all the greenery! although it's a pain not having phone signal and stuff it's strangely quite refreshing when it happens i think! xx
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful photos! The little girl is so pretty! I miss wearing my hair in a braid like that. Ah, now I have nostalgia for my childhood. Enjoy the sun!
ReplyDeleteAw, it looks lovely! I stayed in a caravan recently for the first time in years and it was SUCH fun!

Ripley looks gorgeous! I wish we had places like that here in Texas! It looks like you had a good time, and that makes me happy :) For Easter, I'm gonna eat some gumbo that I'm pretty excited about and hang out with my family.

Those are lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteI love the first one because it makes me nostalgic as parks like that are starting to disappear where I live. I also think that the fourth photo of the bridge is beautiful:)
