Sunday Summary 003

SS003

This week has been pretty productive in terms of health. I joined Weight Watches on Wednesday & have been to the gym twice since! I'm just hoping my alcohol binge last night isn't enough to jeopardise any weight loss...

In regards to the gym, I was pretty surprised by my level of fitness. Although I'm not fit by any means, considering that, aside from the odd fitness DVD, I haven't done any proper exercise since I left school, not passing out from exertion is a pretty good sign ;)

Yesterday, I went for a bra fitting at Bravissimo. Rather than use a tape measure, they go by the size of the bra that you're wearing. Although Bravissimo don't make my bra size (giant back, small cup!) it was worth the trip and gave me a good indication of what size and style of bra I should be wearing.

My future housemates and I signed for our house this week. So excited about moving in with them as things in my flat aren't that great and I'm sick of hiding out in my room to avoid the awkwardness.

I went to the cinema for the first time in forever this week to see The Kings Speech. Loved it! HBIC Helena Bonham Carter was amazing as ever. Any recommendations of films to see? I really want to watch Black Swan after hearing all of the amazing reviews.

How was your week?

  2. I really want to see Never Let Me Go with Carey Mulligan in. Good luck with Weight Watchers, I've been going for 3 weeks and it's going really well. It's really flexible and easy to stick to :) x

  4. Aw good luck with weight watchers, and Never Let me Go looks like a brilliant film.
S'abit rubbish for you with the house situation, but in my first year it was the same. Getting to choose who to live with is so much better, good luck with that too :) xx

  5. I have to giggle at the Bravissimo part because there is a gelato store in Singapore called Bravissimo too and it made me thoroughly confused as to why you would do bra fitting at a gelato shop. LOL.

  6. Go see Black Swan! It's fabulous :) Also like other people have been saying go see Never Let Me Go, it is a beautiful but very sad film. You'll be thinking about it for a long time after you've finished watching it. Also good luck with the health thing! I'm also doing something similar xx

  9. I saw Black Swan at the cinema a couple of weeks ago and it was really good...definitely recommend going to see it :)

There is a Bravissimo shop recently opened up near me...I ought to take a trip in there as I find it a bit hit and miss for what size actually fits me (say the size I'm pretty sure I am will fit me from one shop but is stupidly tight on the back in another! Grr!)

Good luck with Weight Watchers and the gym :)

    xx

So glad to hear about your house, there's nothing worse than having to hide yourself away :( Hoep you don't have too long to wait!
