September Snapshot

September has been a ridiculously busy month for me, not only did I celebrate my 20th birthday (woe is me) but I also moved to uni! I was a bit unsure at first but after being here almost 2 weeks, I'm finally starting to settle in and enjoy myself. I've also been enjoying spending money (oops!). So, I'm hoping that with uni starting up next week and everything calming down, I'll be throwing myself back into the blogging world :)

Listening to: Lykke Li, Bruno Mars, Cher Llyod, The Script, Keri Hilson & Young Money.

Reading: The usual stack of magazines

Watching: X Factor!

Buying: Far too many clothes :$

Wanting: a job

Trying: to live independently

Loving: my uni room ♥

Planning: to work really hard this year!

Making: a mess.

Writing: To do lists

Inspired by: the stylish people in Leeds

How did September shape up for you?

Update!

Hola chicas! :) Huge apologies for slacking so much! I've recently moved away to uni so for these next few weeks, whilst I'm getting used to everything, I don't know how often I'll be updating. I am trying to keep on top of reading blogs though (if only the same could be said about my emails!) and I love all of the A/W posts I keep seeing. When my student loan comes in, I have no doubt I'll go on a cheeky spending spree myself but until I have anything of relevance to post, check out my new digs! :)

I realise it's only Thursday but I hope everyone has an amazing weekend! ♥

Clothing at Tesco Winner!

Huge apologies for this being a week late, I've been super busy and my laptop got attacked by a virus so I've only just got it back!

Thank you to everyone who entered, it was great seeing the difference in styles! Although I think my 'to buy' list has expanded! In the end I couldn't pick a winner, so I chose the top 3 and got my family to vote for their favourite! Cheating? Possibly! But I figured it was the fairest way ;)

...and the winner is:

Lois Mae

I love the effort put into it and all for under £30! Congrats bb! I hope you enjoy your prize :)

I don't know how frequently I'll be updating over the upcoming weeks as I move to Leeds for uni tomorrow! Fingers crossed I'll be able to keep on top of things!

I hope you're enjoying the weekend : )

Beth Ditto @ Evans

Beth Ditto's second collection for Evans launches online and in some stores today!

I loved the first collection and snagged the domino print dress and stained glass window dress, so I was excited to see what else she had in store. The collection seems more cohesive than the previous one but I'm not sure I enjoy it as much. Maybe it's because the arrival of ASOS Curve means I have higher expectations or maybe I'm just cynical, but I'm not sure I'll be splurging on anything this time round!

Negative Nancy aside, these are my favourite picks:

I fell in love with the spotty dress when I picked up my copy of LOOK on Tuesday but after seeing it on Beth, who is a foot or so shorter than I, I'm thinking it may be indecently short! As I won't be able to see the collection firsthand, I'm looking forward to seeing Lauren and Em's changing room posts showcasing the items!

What's your favourite piece?

Boys Boys Boys

Forever ago I was tagged by the lovely Caz to do this and I've finally gotten round to it!

The aim of this tag is to name (and preferably include pictures of) your top 5 male celebrity crushes.

Could there be a better tag? I'll see what I can do! ;)

1. Mat Gordon

Tall, dark, handsome and Canadian... I could watch the Paco Rabanne advert on repeat ;) yum!

2. Jon Kortajarena

Jon K is ridiculously beautiful. As if I needed a reason to wander around H&M ;)

3. Gaspard Ulliel

He's French. I think that says it all. Perhaps if he had played Edward Cullen, I would have an interest in Twilight.

4. Gabriel Saporta

'Daily, nightly and ever so rightly' is all I'm gonna say.

5. Travie McCoy

I may be a little bit in love with this man! ♥

I tag everyone! So if you do this, leave me a comment so I can drool read! :)

Thank you so much to everyone who wished my happy birthday yesterday! I don't know how I feel about being 20 ;(

Dorothy Perkins Autumn/Winter 2010

I seem to have fallen behind on showing some of this seasons collections but here's Dorothy Perkins' for your viewing pleasure! I love the images and although it's not necessarily my favourite collection clothes wise, the gorgeous pictures more than make up for it! Although, after seeing this, I think I need the cat print shirt dress.

What do you think?

Don't forget to enter the Clothing at Tesco competition! :)

Win £30 To Spend @ Clothing At Tesco!

I intended to get this post out before I went to Leeds Festival but I didn't get the chance, oops! The festival was amazing but I seemed to have caught the post festival bug, hence the lack of posts, but now I am back and badder than ever! ;D

Being a fan of Clothing at Tesco, I was super excited to be part of their 'Outfit For Under £30' series. Clothing at Tesco have an amazing range of clothing from size 6 to 28 and all at great prices. Their Autumn/Winter collection looks amazing so now would be a great time to try them out, if you haven't already!

Being that it was festival season, with my outfit I decided to go for a festival themed look. Wellies are the ultimate festival staple and I opted for a dress as the unpredictable British weather means layers are essential and this is simple enough to wear with leggings or alone.

For your chance to win, create your ideal 'Outfit Under £30' from Clothing at Tesco then comment this post or drop me an email and the best one wins. Simple as that!

I'll be picking a winner on the 12th September, so there's plenty of time to enter. Only rules are you must live in the UK/Northern Ireland (or be able to have your items delivered there!) and be a follower of the blog or a fan on Facebook :)

Good luck!

Pocket Rocket Birthday Giveaway

I was lucky enough to win a prize from Lauren's birthday giveaway and as it arrived just moments before I set off for Leeds Festival, I didn't have chance to open it!
The brooch is definitely my favourite thing, I've already firmly attached it to my denim jacket! So thank you Lauren & congratulations to the other winners :)
